This project began with two families becoming one — six kids, one home, and a whole new chapter to build together. The goal was a space that felt effortless and sun-warmed from the start: soft, sandy tones, natural textures, and just enough coastal blue to keep things breezy rather than staged. Nothing here feels precious or off-limits — every corner was designed to hold real life, noise and all.
There's a line in Jimmy Buffett's Coastal Confessions about laughter and tears as you make your way through the years, and that felt like the heartbeat of this home. Blending two families is rarely a straight path, but the space itself was designed to make the in-between feel easy — relaxed, welcoming, and completely theirs.
