Coastal Confessions is a family home in Anaheim Hills, California designed for a new chapter—two families coming together under one roof. With six kids, the goal was to create a home that felt relaxed, welcoming, and easy to live in from the start. Soft sandy tones, natural textures, warm wood finishes, and touches of coastal blue give the interiors a light, breezy feel without becoming overly themed or formal. Every space was designed to handle real life while still feeling thoughtful, polished, and personal.
The home balances comfort with a refined coastal influence, layering classic millwork, woven textures, soft upholstery, and casual furnishings throughout. Nothing feels too precious or off-limits; the spaces were meant for gathering, growing, and everyday family life. The project name was inspired by Jimmy Buffett’s “Coastal Confessions,” a fitting reference for a home centered around change, connection, laughter, and creating something new together.
